All about FM: The BIFM Scotland region annual conference and exhibition

Workplace Law’s Managing Director, David Sharp, takes evaluating performance in facilities management survey results to British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) event.

Taking place this Friday (28 September 2012), in Edinburgh, the BIFM Scotland Regional Annual Conference and exhibition has the theme ‘All about FM’.

The event is showcasing a varied programme of speakers, and Workplace Law’s Managing Director, David Sharp, will be sharing some of the results from the most comprehensive and largest FM survey undertaken this year – evaluating how performance is measured in the FM sector. The session is entitled ‘Win-win: Intelligent FM service partner, intelligent FM client’.

David Sharp comments: “In 2012 we conducted the biggest in-depth survey of client and supplier behaviour in the UK facilities management sector, as part of a programme of original research to ascertain how value is created in FM operations.

“One of the key findings relates to the importance of the ‘intelligent client’, and I’ll be looking forward to sharing how this concept can help both FM clients and suppliers to work together to their mutual advantage.”

The conference is being hosted at Our Dynamic Earth, a contemporary conference venue with views of Edinburgh city and the Royal Park.

Tickets are still available and can be booked using a booking form located on the website, where the speaker programme is also available: http://www.bifm.org.uk/bifm/events/conferences/Scotland2012
