Cleantech Venture Day has been a trailblazing event for the cleantech community since its inception in 2006. Over the last decade, more than 220 companies have pitched their ideas at Cleantech Venture Days and as much as 600 million euros have been invested as a result of the events.
Cambridge Cleantech is organising CVD in London for the second year running. Like last year, 20 of the finest cleantech innovators will get an opportunity to present their pitches to an audience of investors from across Europe. The event is a fantastic opportunity for cleantech companies seeking to secure funding and for experienced fund managers, business angels and corporate investors eager to invest in highly innovative and disruptive cleantech sector companies.
The best pitches among the entries will be shortlisted and the 20 most investment-ready companies will present their pitches in October. The deadline for sending in pitches is 21 September 2018.
According to Martin Garratt, Chief Executive of Cambridge Cleantech, “At last year’s Cleantech Venture Day, we had 20 world-leading cleantech innovators pitching their products to a capacity room full of fund managers, corporate venture managers and high net worth individuals. The networking opportunities, from the speed dating breakfast to the intervals and the evening reception, all ensure that the event really is the best place for cleantech investors and innovators to meet”.
