Cambridge is a boom town and the creative and cultural industries are one of its most vibrant sectors contributing to growth. The candidates will consider questions including: How do arts and culture contribute to our quality of life and local economy? What challenges do we face in cultural education? How will Brexit impact on the creative and cultural industries? And how can our creative industries get involved in local debates such as positioning Cambridge as a smart city?
Confirmed participants are; Julian Huppert (Lib Dem), Stuart Tuckwood (Green), and Daniel Zeichner (Labour).
Come along to hear how each candidate would make the most of their role as our local member of parliament to influence the development of the arts and cultural life in Cambridge.
