Last year’s Shaderlight render contest was a resounding success and attracted entries from hundreds of Shaderlight users around the world. With the imminent arrival of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's first baby, ArtVPS has once again called upon the creativity of its users by announcing that the theme for the 2013 Shaderlight render contest is to be 'A Royal Nursery'.
The contest, which starts today, will judge the overall appearance of the entry, creative interpretation of the theme and of course technical abilty. All entries have to be developed in SketchUp, rendered using Shaderlight and, of course, deemed fit for a Prince or Princess!
As well as receiving promotion on the ArtVPS website and in the media, there are some great prizes on offer for the top three finalists.
- 1st prize: $150 Amazon vouchers
- 2nd prize: $100 Amazon vouchers
- 3rd prize: $50 Amazon vouchers
Each of the winners will also receive a full license of Shaderlight for SketchUp.
The deadline for entries is Sunday 18th August 2013 and the winners will be announced soon after.
