Ashtons Legal has appointed a new client liaison specialist to its injury services team. Gill Webber will be supporting the work done by the catastrophic personal and medical injury lawyers across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

Gill is an occupational therapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and has significant experience in serious injury rehabilitation. She is able to assist catastrophically injured clients and their families at the point they need it most, shortly after the injury has been incurred.

She has previously worked as a rehabilitation case manager for over four years, and also as a local authority occupational therapist for nine years. Gill has a caring and empathetic nature with her clients and families, and also strives hard to ensure that her clients receive adequate support and therapies following serious injuries. She is a member of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) and BABICM, (British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers).

Gill will join Caroline Trinder who joined Ashtons a year ago as a client liaison specialist. Caroline is a registered nurse and ensures that clients receive adequate support and therapies following serious injuries in the interim period between the injury occurring and financial compensation being obtained. Both Caroline and Gill continue to work closely with local services, NHS teams, private health care professionals and charities.

Richard Foyster, Partner and head of Personal Injury at Ashtons says “Having a Client Liaison team has proven to be extremely beneficial to clients and their families. They support a range of injuries including traumatic brain injuries, birth injuries, spinal, complex orthopaedic injuries, amputees and clients with trauma related psychological injuries. They recognise the fundamental need for an initial, medical understanding of a client’s situation and have the expertise to bring about an immediate plan for rehabilitation. Ashtons are one of the few firms in East Anglia advancing their services in this manner.”

Caroline and Gill  (pictured, left to right) are based at Ashtons’ Norwich office, and assist our legal teams in all offices throughout East Anglia.
