Ashtons Legal expands Commercial Property team with high profile Norfolk recruit

Ashtons Legal is delighted to announce the appointment of Sally Challinor to lead its Norwich-based Commercial Property team. The region-wide team now has 21 lawyers supporting clients in a very broad range of commercial sectors on property matters.

Sally brings over 20 years of experience within the Norfolk area to the firm. She joins the newly refreshed team some of whom were appointed by Ashtons in 2018. The latest recruits include two solicitors (Victoria Harnett and Hannah Arnold), paralegal Colette Dexter and legal secretary Caron Davies.

Sally Challinor advises on a diverse range of real estate transactions and corporate transactions ranging from small-scale developments to large public sector developments. Her clients range from high net worth individuals to listed corporates and includes charity and education sector expertise along with investors, developers and corporate occupiers.

Hannah advises on a variety of commercial property matters including leasehold and freehold disposals, investment properties and commercial leases as well as assisting with commercial development work. Victoria advises on non-contentious commercial property matters such as acquisitions and disposals, commercial leases, secured lending and corporate support.

Sally comments: “I am delighted to have joined Ashtons and am excited about driving forward our commercial property team in Norwich. Accompanied by a superb team of lawyers, I am confident that our focus on excellent client service that is person centred rather than exclusively deal focused, will be the difference that sets us apart from our competitors.”

James Griffiths, the partner heading Ashtons Legal’s property division, comments: “The addition of Sally to the team continues our growth of expertise within Commercial Property. I am delighted she has joined us and wish her well with her future career at Ashtons.”
