Aveillant picks Proof to fly high in the aviation and renewable energy sectors

Cambridge based engineering company Aveillant has contracted Proof Communication to promote their 3D Holographic Radar(TM) that distinguishes between airplanes and wind turbines.

Proof has been working with Aveillant on a project basis since last year but has now been retained for communications consultancy, media relations and stakeholder engagement until April 2014.

The unique radar technology, originally spun out of Cambridge Consultants, enables air traffic controllers to clearly follow the flight of planes over wind farms, an issue that has previously resulted in hundreds of renewable energy developments being held up by planning objections.

“Aveillant is at a crucial stage of our development and delivering the right messages to our stakeholders is now more important than ever,” says David Crisp, CEO of Aveillant.  “Having an agency that can convey complex information to a variety of audiences is very important and Proof have shown themselves to be highly effective in this task so far.”

“Aveillant’s technology brings the renewable and aviation industry together to solve a mutual problem,” says Jim Sutton, Director of Proof Communication “We are looking forward to helping to grow Aveillant’s business as well securing a sustainable future for the renewable and aviation sectors.”

Science, engineering and technology specialists Proof Communication are in the process of establishing an office in Cambridge to serve the dynamic and innovative businesses of the “Silicon Fen” which will be fully operational by 2014.
