Public services in the region were widely acclaimed, winning six Gold Awards. Doing the double were Essex County Council and Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust including the ‘Outstanding Young Communicator’ Award to Emma Jones MCIPR.
A particular highlight from Essex County Council was their ‘Be sure at the door’ campaign, launched to tackle rogue trader crime in Essex. Judges gave particular credit to this campaign after it stood out for its “exceptional use of cross-channel implementation, showing great understanding and use of stakeholder relations, partnering with other organisations, making this a highly effective campaign in protecting vulnerable audiences.”
The prestigious Gold Award for Outstanding Small Public Relations Consultancy was awarded to the Native Consultancy and CubanEight was presented with the Outstanding Mid-sized Public Relations Consultancy title.
Adam Tuckwell MCIPR, Joint Chair of CIPR East Anglia, commented: "The PRide Awards are a fantastic opportunity to be reminded of the vast amount of talented and creative PR professionals we have in our region. Everyone nominated for an award tonight should be incredibly proud of their work and, on behalf of the CIPR Committee, I like to offer my sincere congratulations to our Gold winners this evening, all of whom have demonstrated the highest professional standards of public relations practice. Well done! "

About the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR)
Founded in 1948, the CIPR is the professional body for public relations practitioners in the UK. With over 10,000 members involved in all aspects of public relations, it is the largest body of its type in Europe.
The CIPR advances professionalism in public relations by making its members accountable to their employers and the public through a code of conduct and searchable public register, setting standards through training, qualifications and the production of best practice and skills guidance, facilitating Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and awarding Chartered Public Relations Practitioner status (Chart.PR).
The CIPR was granted its Royal Charter by the Privy Council in February 2005.
