What to post on social media is a common topic of discussion with opinions and content varying. But, have you ever thought about the most suitable times to post on social media?
Timing is really important for social media marketing. Being a marketer, you want to send messages when people are around to notice them. A larger audience signifies more opportunities to increase engagement, drive traffic, and attract potential customers. So, what are the optimised times to post on each Social media channel?
Well, there is no thumb rule about posting on social media; it depends on the target potentials, your objectives and type of content and a number of other factors. However, after meticulous analysis of many of the profiles our company manages, I have tried to compile a brief but useful “Times to Post Cheat Sheet” for all below.
Best times to post on Facebook
Undoubtedly, Facebook is the most powerful and popular social media site. It is the best place to get exposure. To make your social media marketing strategy more effective, you can follow some patterns and schedules –
- Thursday is the most recommended week day to post of Facebook
- 1 p.m. on Thursday is the perfect time as most users remain active this time
- Apart from Thursday, post any time between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Early mornings and late nights posting are not recommended
- Wednesday through Sunday – good days to post
Best times to post on Twitter
Twitter is an ultimate platform that enables the businesses to communicate with potential customers. To get a better response, you must know the right time to tweet –
