Bidwells announces key Cambridge promotions for 2017

Bidwells, one of the UK’s leading property consultancies, is delighted to announce that seven people from its head office in Cambridge have been promoted for 2017.

Ian Wakeling from the Building Consultancy division (pictured) has been promoted to Group Partner. Ian has been with Bidwells since 2005 and has more than 17 years of property and construction experience and now project manages a broad range of schemes.

Cath Anthony (Rural), Dan Thomas (Building Consultancy) and Alex Bloxham (Residential) have all been made Divisional Partners. 

Cath joined Bidwells in 2009, and works for a variety of clients. She specialises in anaerobic digestion (AD) and rural development and diversification (RDD). 

Dan Thomas has 12 years’ experience as a project manager, primarily in the delivery of complex schemes for the Oxbridge Colleges. 

Alex joined Bidwells last year, and is Head of Lettings. He has more than 13 years’ experience in rental properties in Cambridge.

Jake Nugent (Planning), Doug Shulman (Rural) and Heather Lay (Commercial) have been promoted to Associate. 

Patrick McMahon, Senior Partner, said: “The promotions are in recognition of the contribution made by a number of individuals to the success of the firm. 

“2016 was an incredibly exciting year for Bidwells as we launched our new brand to highlight our work within our key chosen markets. It was also a year of economic uncertainty, but despite this, our teams once again delivered exceptional results for our clients.”

A total of 20 people have been promoted for 2017.
