Terry joins Birketts’ Ipswich office, working with one of the three teams that form part of Birketts' award winning Transport and Logistics Team. Recognised for the excellence of their work with both international and domestic clients by the Legal 500 UK Awards 2019, Terry’s 30 years of commercial knowledge make him well placed to bring the team to even greater success.
With comprehensive arbitration experience in the energy, trade, marine and maritime law sectors gained in private practice and in-house roles, Terry’s impressive track record has also seen him selected as chair for Lloyd’s Maritime Academy, address the floor at the New York Maritime Association and become selected as one of only six accredited speakers on International Trade to one of the world's leading banks. Having built up a strong reputation acting for clients in highly complex, high value matters of international trade, shipping and insurance, Terry has extensive experience representing a broad range of traders, shippers and oil companies and will be a strong addition to Birketts’ growing group of specialists.
