Booking opens for the Cambridge Information and Intellectual Property Meeting (CIIPM6) in December

Booking is now open for the Cambridge Information and Intellectual Property Meeting (CIIPM6) to be held on December 15 at the Trinity Centre, Cambridge Science Park.

The meeting will start at 2:00 pm and end at 5:30 pm with a drinks reception, with mulled wine, snacks and canapés.

Speakers will be as follows:

  • Isla Furlong, Director of Intellectual Property, PetMedix Ltd – ‘Antibody Innovation in Animal Health’  

  • Simon Turberville, Patent Director, HGF – ‘5G and healthcare’

  • Rob Mann, IP Manager, PragmatIC - ‘IP protection strategies – chips for starters’

  • Carsten Richter, Head of Intellectual Property, Euroimmun - ‘Emerging diseases - filing strategies for fast-advancing technologies’

  • Charlotte Guillard, Senior Economist, UKIPO - ‘What IP regime will encourage the use and development of AI in the UK?’

There will also be a panel discussion on the theme ‘Disruption and the Innovation Lifecycle’ and product reviews from some of the meeting sponsors.

The organisers are looking forward to seeing people face-to-face but will offer limited virtual participation for those unable to travel to the meeting. Should COVID conditions require it, they will move the whole event to a virtual setting.
