Breakfast at Alconbury as Cambridge Network spreads its wings

It's not too late to sign up for Cambridge Network's breakfast networking event tomorrow (Weds June 4th) at Alconbury, near Huntingdon, on the ever popular topic of sales.

Sign up now or drop in** for  the two-hour session from 8.30-10.30am  at Alconbury Enterprise Campus, PE28 4WX - the first time the Network has run such an event in the area.  It is open to all, including members of Cambridge Network, Huntingdonshire Business Network and Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce.

Focusing on sales - how to make a good impression when networking, telephoning or presenting to a group - it features short (15 minute) presentations from three Network members:

  • Effective networking - Kate Atkin, Aspire2
  • Using the telephone as a sales tool - Matthew Jolly, Great Guns Marketing
  • How to give a completely convincing presentation - Jon Torrens, Jon Torrens Communication Coach

Andrea Mitchell, Cambridge Network's Event Organiser, said: "These networking sessions, especially designed for our smaller member companies in response to demand, have been very popular in Cambridge. However, we realise that it is often difficult for members living or working outside Cambridge to get to the city for a breakfast meeting, so we are now trialling a few sessions a little further afield. All are welcome to come along to what is usually a friendly, informal gathering, with the bonus of some expert speakers."

**Please note - to cover costs, a nominal (non-refundable) fee of £15 / head  is required, payable in advance via the link below or on the door at the event.
