Breakfast networking session explores wellbeing at work

Do you have an ‘always on’ culture? Is your work space under pressure? Find out the latest about what employers in Cambridge are doing around workplace wellbeing at Cambridge Network's Breakfast Networking event this Thursday (October 23rd).

HR, Finance, Facilities and other managers responsible for people’s wellbeing will find this session enlightening, as three Cambridge Network members (Talent Glue, COEL and Cambridge Plant Interiors) talk about research they are conducting into the topic.

Their research looks at the ‘hygiene factors’ in the design of the physical work environment as well as the 'motivating factors’ in an organisation’s culture that help to build and maintain wellbeing.   They explore whether there is a fine line between flexible working and an ‘always on’ culture, where people are still working on their beach holiday.  They also look practically at what employers can do when workspace comes under pressure - those comfy sofas getting replaced by much needed desks or moving to a hot-desking environment.  They will also share some tips on how we can ensure our own wellbeing at work.

This event, which takes place from 8am to 10am at The Hauser Forum, 3 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge, CB3 0GT, is open to all Cambridge Network members. To cover costs, there is a small charge of £15+VAT for members to attend.
