Bromium CTO to lead discussion of isolation-based security at RSA Conference 2015

Simon Crosby to moderate panel of speakers from Microsoft, Juniper Networks and Docker

Bromium©, Inc., the pioneer and leader in transforming endpoint security using micro-virtualization, today announced that Simon Crosby, co-founder and CTO, Bromium, will moderate “Containers vs. VMs for Secure Cloud Applications,” a panel session at RSA 2015 in San Francisco, California. Crosby will be joined by speakers from Microsoft, Juniper Networks and Docker to discuss best practices for securing cloud-based apps, and the pros and cons of using containers vs. VMs.

“As cloud applications grow in popularity, more app developers and PaaS platforms are adopting containers to simplify app packaging and deployment, but this has raised a lot of critical questions around security and compliance,” said Simon Crosby, co-founder and CTO, Bromium. “RSA continues to be the one of the most important venues for our community to come together each year to evaluate their current security practices. We hope to bring a healthy discussion on the container vs. VM debate to the conference this year, and help attendees better understand how to best secure their apps.”
