Cam Connect, the flagship recruitment event for local enterprise and technology, takes place 3- 6pm on Thursday 25 February at the University Centre in central Cambridge. Early stage businesses are invited to be part of Cam Connect’s “Start-up Zone”.
The event attracts up to 500 attendees - undergraduates, postgraduates and postdocs from largely technical and scientific subjects across Cambridge University – all looking for jobs or summer placements.
The exhibitor fee is £100 for the Start-up Zone and £435 for the main Cam Connect event. The Start-up Zone is an informal area where students can interact with you and hear more about your business. You get a table with your company’s name displayed, without the need to bring your own stands or major logistics. You’ll also be featured in both our online and printed Event Programmes, which are used by students before and after the event to research companies they’d like to work with.
We may also have some financial help for start-ups who want to hire an intern. Cambridge is participating in the Santander SME Internship and Work Placement Schemes, providing funding to support an intern’s stipend. Contact Maximilian Ge, [email protected] for more info.
So if you have any jobs, internships or summer projects you’d like to promote to Cambridge students, do consider attending Cam Connect.
