Businesses invited to Cambridgeshire’s first Cyber Crime and Security Conference

Sir Graham Bright, Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Commissioner, in partnership with Cambridgeshire Constabulary’s’ Fraud and Cyber Investigation Unit, invites small and medium business enterprises and their representatives to attend Cambridgeshire’s first Cyber Crime and Security Conference.

 

Taking place next week (Thursday 10th March, 18.00 to 20.00) at ARM, 110 Fulbourn Rd, Fulbourn, Cambridge, CB1 9NJ, it features guest speakers:

  • Rob Hatfield of ‘Get Safe Online’ -  a joint initiative between the Government, law enforcement agencies, public and private sector companies from the world of technology, communication, retail and finance to raise awareness of internet security, and help individuals and smaller business in the UK to use the Internet confidently and safely.
  • Phil Cobley, Regional Cyber Protect Coordinator.  Sitting within the Eastern Region Special Operations Cyber Crime Unit, Phil will be giving a presentation about the future direction of Cyber Crime in Cambridgeshire and surrounding counties. Focus will be on ongoing and future working with businesses to support them to stay protected against Cyber Crime.
