The second annual Sensors in Medicine Conference brings together academic researchers and medical device companies to share opportunities and challenges in the application of sensors to medicine and healthcare. There is currently almost explosive growth in mHealth - the application of smart phone technology to wellness and healthcare. Concurrently, developments in biosensors are being fuelled by advances in nanotechnology, microfluidics, MEMS, and materials science such as graphene.
Papers are invited for oral or poster presentations on any innovative application of sensors in medicine and healthcare. Major themes of the conference will be:
- Wearable, wireless and implantable sensors
- Innovation technology
- Breath analysis
- Emerging companies - who have an opportunity to both exhibit and present their technology
