Calling all jobseekers - don't miss Cambridge Network Recruitment event today

Cambridge Network's highly successful run of recruitment events, where potential candidates have the opportunity to meet leading local employers, continues this evening (Tuesday 27th November 2018).

Taking place from 6pm – 9pm at the Eddington Postdoc centre, this event follows the recent popular Cambridge Network job fair, which attracted more than 150 high calibre candidates.

Claire Angus, who heads the Network's Recruitment Gateway, says:" Our September event resulted in some very useful connections being made between jobseekers and the many local companies who came to meet them - we know that a number of appointments were made as a result of meetings at the fair.

"Candidates say that these events provide really productive insight into both current vacancies and the culture of participating organisations, because they are able to meet and talk to potential employers face to face.

"The November evening is our last Cambridge Network recruitment event of the year, so we will be bringing in excellent exhibitors, workshops, talks and hundreds of live job vacancies, as well as recruitment experts offering careers advice."

Among the exhibitors will be:

  • 10to8
  • Archipelago Technology
  • Okra Technologies
  • IPV UK Ltd
  • Roku
  • Illumina
  • Kameo Recruitment
  • CD Coaching
  • Talentscape
  • Cambridge Network

Talentscape will also be running a careers workshop entitled Making the winning connection with your future employer -  a short masterclass on how to convey your ‘perfect fit’ for a role and company. How do you connect in the right way with a potential employer? How do you convey your ‘personal brand’ and build ‘your story’ to give you a real competitive advantage?

Job seekers: This event is free! Even if you haven't signed up here to attend, please just come along this evening. There will also be CV and Interview technique workshops available to help you to succeed in a competitive jobs market.
