The scheme aims to support sustainable travel, including bus priority, between key residential and employment areas along the A428 to the west of Cambridge, and to support planned development in South Cambridgeshire - including thousands of new homes in Cambourne, Bourn and the new town of Northstowe.
The report, due to be published this week and considered by the Greater Cambridge City Deal later this month, will instead be published on 21 September for consideration by the Joint Assembly on 29 September and decision by the Executive Board on 13 October.
The report has been rescheduled to allow sufficient time for all relevant parties to review and finalise the technical detail prior to publication, taking the peak leave period into account, and at specific request.
The report will show the outcome of work to test alternative options for improving bus patronage, and cycling and walking journeys, on and around the A428 and A1303, providing better links between the city and key residential and employment centres along the A428 in South Cambs.
Public consultation on initial ideas, which included potential on and off-road routes, took place in and will also be taken into account in officer recommendations.
