Cambridge Beer Festival announces Festival Charity

EACH fundraising and marketing and comms team

Every year, Cambridge Beer Festival partners with a festival charity and thanks to the generous donations of our customers, we raise over £25,000 each year.

In just under three weeks, the festival volunteers will be joined by East Anglian's Children's Hospice (EACH) who support families and care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.

EACH Community Fundraiser Helena Davis said: “We’re thrilled and honoured to have been selected as charity partner for this year’s Cambridge Beer Festival. We know what a difference it has made to other worthy causes in our county and see this as a huge deal and incredible opportunity, allowing us to raise a fantastic amount and also heighten awareness in Cambridge. Our sincere thanks go to everyone who has made this partnership possible and we look forward to seeing everyone, running our stand and taking donations.”

The festival doesn't happen without volunteers. We need several hundred across the week we're open. Many volunteers also help to set up before the event and take it down again afterwards.

Can you give us a hand? Even if you can only spend a few hours serving customers at the bar, your time will be greatly appreciated. And you’ll be made really welcome. It's fun, you'll make new friends, and get to try the fantastic beer, cider, mead and wine we have in store this year.

The Festival runs from 5pm on Monday 22nd May until Saturday 27th May.
