All donations can be collected for free by calling 01223 633790. All types of furniture and electricals are needed, so rather than throwing out unwanted items or paying for them to be collected by the council, they could instead be donated to the BHF and help fund essential heart research.
Coronary heart disease is one of the UK’s biggest killers and last year BHF shops raised over £31 million in the fight for every heartbeat. Donations, which are vital to the charity, are desperately needed so that BHF researchers can continue their relentless search for breakthroughs to beat heart disease.
BHF Area Manager, Phil Moore, says, “We absolutely rely on the support of the local community in Cambridge to keep us running and without their generous donations we risk reducing funding for vital research into heart disease.

Recently a brown Thomas Lloyd Chesterfield suite, which was donated to the Cambridge Furniture & Electrical store, was sold via the BHF eBay store – http://stores.ebay.co.uk/British-Heart-Foundation-Shop - and helped to raise £676.71 for the charity. The store desperately needs more good quality items to help continue to raise money for the BHF’s life-saving heart research.
