The Cambridge Building Society appoints new Non-Executive Director

The Cambridge has announced the appointment of a new Non-Executive Director to its Board.

Dr Andrew Rice, who joined The Cambridge this month (February 2020), has extensive experience in computer technologies including privacy and professional software development. Andrew works in the Department for Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge where his research in software engineering and related areas is internationally recognised. Andrew also works as a Visiting Scientist at Google helping him to keep in touch with professional software development and security practices in the industry.

Dr Rice said, “I am thrilled to join the Board at The Cambridge. It’s great to have the opportunity to bring my knowledge and experience to a Society that is taking strides to remain modern and forward looking. I’m looking forward to learning about how the society operates and supporting The Cambridge to achieve its goals through my role on the Board.”

As an expert in his field, Andrew brings a wealth of experience that will be invaluable to our operations here at The Cambridge.
