Cambridge Business Week kicks off with hustings from Cambridge Parliamentary candidates

A special event to launch the annual Cambridge Business Awards Week will feature five of the Cambridge Parliamentary candidates, talking about how they would help business in the region should they be elected.

The hustings will accompany a talk from a leading Westminster politician who will address Cambridge businesses and give an update on any relevant news. The event - on the morning of Monday March 16th - will be chaired by the CEO of Addenbrooke’s, Dr Keith McNeil.

Cambridge Network Chair Andy Harter, CEO of RealVNC, will also offer his reflections on regional business progress and attendees will then have time to talk with finalists of the Business Weekly and Cambridge News business awards competitions.

The event takes place at the University of Cambridge Computer Labs (William Gates Building, 15 JJ Thomson Avenue, Cambridge CB3 0FD) and entry is by invitation only. There may be a few seats available for Cambridge Network members - please email the Network's CEO, Claire Ruskin, if you would like to attend.

The Cambridge networks are organising this event together with the regional newspapers.  Part of the purpose is to promote Cambridge to the rest of the world as a centre of excellence.
