McGuire's barber shop based in Dunedin, Florida, USA has been offering a traditional cut and shave to customers since 1949. With a history this long and prestigious, you would think the last thing on their mind would be revamping their brand.
But with a raft of new customers on the doorstep, the challenge was to try and appeal to a new, younger audience - selling them the whole concept of a 'traditional' barber shop experience.
So McGuire's commissioned Provoke Me to design a logo to be used on their website, advertising and shop signage.
Our team came up with a simple illustration of the scissors and cut-throat razor - so synonymous with the classic barber shop experience, and coupled this with a bold typeface and a strong blue/red colour palette.
