The team raised £1,485.00 with the help of clients, colleagues, friends and family. Cambridge Design Partnership then generously matched this amount, bringing the grand total to £2,970.00.
The figure was revealed at a fun award ceremony at Cambridge Design Partnership’s offices on Friday. Certificates were awarded for a variety of ‘tache-tastic’ achievements, including:
o The Salvador Dali Award – for style over practicality
o The Burt Reynolds Award – for comfortable moustache wearing
o The Fantastic Badger Award – for ‘tache colouration
“The team managed to sport their ‘taches through client meetings, conferences, presentations and against some strong protestations from wives and girlfriends. But it was all for a good cause and we have been overwhelmed by the support from friends, family and colleagues,” commented Ian Radcliffe, Consulting Mechanical Engineer, who helped organise CDP’s Movember team.
“Well done team, now for all that is good and decent, please go and shave.”
