The team are delighted to confirm that the rescheduled Cambridge Information & Intellectual Property Meeting (#CIIPM6) will be held in person on 9th March at the Trinity Centre, Cambridge Science Park, CB4 0FZ. You may recall that the team took the difficult decision to postpone the meeting originally planned for 15th December, due to rapidly rising COVID-19 cases last November.  The theme for the meeting – ‘Disruption and the Innovation Lifecycle’ - couldn’t be more appropriate.

The CIIPM meeting will start at 2:00 pm and the formal meeting will finish around 5:30 pm with a drinks reception, with wine, beer, snacks and canapés available.

The programme features the following speakers:

  • Isla Furlong, Director of Intellectual Property, PetMedix Ltd – ‘Antibody innovation in animal health’

  • Kerry Rees, Partner, HGF – ‘5G and healthcare’

  • Rob Mann, IP Manager, PragmatIC - ‘IP protection strategies – chips for starters’

  • Carsten Richter, Euroimmun - ‘Emerging diseases - filing strategies for fast-advancing technologies’

  • Charlotte Guillard, Senior Economist, UKIPO - ‘What IP regime will encourage the use and development of AI in the UK?’

There will also be a panel discussion on the theme ‘Disruption and the Innovation Lifecycle’.  Please come with questions for the panel and join in the debate. The space allows for three exhibitors; our Sponsors this year are Minesoft, CAS and Patsnap.

Registration costs £110+VAT. Book your place now on Eventbrite, https://bit.ly/CIIPM6
