The 3rd Cambridge Information and IP Meeting (CIIPM) has a focus on licensing and valuation this year. These two topics were especially highlighted in feedback from the 2017 meeting.  The CIIPM summer meeting provides an opportunity for knowledge sharing for those engaged with the commercialisation of technologies using intellectual property, and those needing information to make legal and commercial decisions.

The 11th July meeting @ Homerton College in central Cambridge offers lunch, an afternoon of talks and discussions, a small exhibition, and networking opportunities. The meeting cost is £95 + VAT until 27th June. Registration is through Eventbrite. The meeting cost includes lunch, a specialist exhibition, refreshments and the networking reception as well as the main programme.  If you have time – why not also register for one of our two workshops in the morning which are included in the entry price.

CIIPM's mission is to provide learning and networking opportunities for those engaged with the business of developing and commercialising technology IP.  This year two Oxford companies will be at CIIPM – Oxfirst and Coller IP.  Both will be sharing their insights into IP valuation and IP licensing.  The right information on market opportunities and competitors will help with making the right business decision.  GSK and Marks & Clerk share their experiences with gathering and using IP information for business intelligence, and patent prosecution matters.  Join us at the third CIIPM for a full programme of talks and discussion with around forty people from technology companies, legal firms, academia, information software and service  providers, governmental and research organisations and consultancies.

The CIIPM exhibition also provides a great opportunity for discussion with specialist IP service providers, search and software specialists.  New for 2018 we have two interactive morning workshops from deepSearch9 and CFL Software which give you the chance to try out next generation search technologies first hand.  Minesoft, RWS, Coller IP, Mathys & Squire, Questel, EBSCO, and FIZ Karlsruhe / Chemical Abstracts Service will all be present as exhibitors.  The UK IPO supports the Cambridge Information and IP Meeting.  To round off the afternoon we finish with a networking reception, weather permitting, on the beautiful lawns at Homerton.  We hope you will be able to join us for a knowledge sharing afternoon to discuss your technology commercialisation and IP issues and share expertise with our speakers, exhibitors and other attendees.
