Cambridge International Airport has confirmed that its weekly summer Saturday flights to Jersey will return for a third year from May 2014. Following its continued success this summer, independent tour operator C.I. Travel will be working with the airport to once again offer Jersey holidays from May to September 2014, with week-long packages starting from £367 per person.

As well as a selection of seven and 14 night holiday packages to Jersey, C.I. Travel is also offering a flight-only price of £199 return. The packages range from quality budget accommodation and cosy family-run country hotels, to luxury self-catering apartments and boutique hotels. Prices start from £367 per person, bed and breakfast, for seven nights, based on two sharing at the Stafford Hotel and including return flights.

Robert MacKenzie, managing director at C.I Travel Group, commented, “We’re delighted to be offering our Jersey holidays from Cambridge International Airport for the third year in a row. They have proved a real hit amongst travellers from the East of England, with full flights again this summer, and it was an easy decision to continue the route for 2014. With its enviable sunshine record, great food, nature and culture, Jersey is an ideal summer destination – we’re looking forward to helping many more Cambridge passengers discover the island over the coming year.”

“Our favourite island in the sun!” added David Surley of Cambridge International Airport, “We’re sure our third annual service to the beaches of Jersey will be more popular than ever.  Our Saturday flights to the largest of the Channel Islands, which will start on 10 May in 2014, are extremely popular with families, couples and single travellers alike, appealing to beach lovers, sun-lovers, activity-oriented travellers and also water-sport enthusiasts. Jersey has attractions for everyone, whether it’s the award-winning cuisine, the cliff-top walks, discovering the island by bicycle, or enjoying the many annual festivals and events. ”

Flights will depart each Saturday from 10 May 2014. Passengers bound for Jersey will travel through Cambridge International Airport’s newly refurbished terminal, featuring new facilities, including a business lounge, Costa Coffee, complimentary Wi-Fi and lounge-style ambience.
