Of particular interest was the park’s proposed innovation centre, The Epicentre, which has just received planning consent and in advance of its likely opening in 2015, has already set up a ‘virtual’ offer that includes; use of the new innovation centre address, a domain name, post handling and conference/meeting space at a reduced rate at Day’s Inn Hotel.
Louise Rushworth, Eventa Manager at Cambridge Network said: “We were delighted to hold our meeting in Haverhill on Wednesday and learn about the opportunities Haverhill Research Park can offer as the development progresses. We look forward to visiting again and forging closer links between Haverhill and Cambridge.”
Nic Rumsey, Director of Carisbrooke, said, “We were very happy to host the Cambridge Network meeting and show the potential opportunities for small and large businesses alike. Our goal here at Haverhill is to provide high quality accommodation in a great location to tenants or freeholders at cost effective prices yet still with a Cambridge postcode.”
The park is strategically located on the borders of Suffolk, Essex, and Cambridge, which gives the park the opportunity to have a positive impact on all areas.
