More than 100 organisations are exhibiting at the sell-out show, which has attracted businesses from across the region. The event, which takes place at Cambridge airport tomorrow (18 September), has been organised by Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce and includes a full programme of free seminars.
To celebrate the event, CRC’s employer engagement department is offering a ‘show special’ of 20 per cent off the price of one-day short courses – including Mentoring Skills, Excel/Word and Food Safety – which can be completed either at the college or in the workplace.
CRC Business Development Manager Phil Stittle said the B2B exhibition provided a unique opportunity for businesses to come together to showcase their products and services.
“It is important to support the local business community and we’re delighted to be able to sponsor such a high profile event,” he said,
The college, one of the region’s biggest providers of apprenticeship programmes, will be providing advice and information on apprenticeships and short courses for businesses to employers at the exhibition.
Free seminars during the day include ‘Growing Your Business’ – a guide to making the most of your opportunities – and ‘Speed Networking’, a fast-paced networking event allowing businesses just 60 seconds to make an impression.
The B2B exhibition takes place on Wednesday, 18 September from 10 am to 4pm, at Cambridge Airport, accessed directly off Newmarket Road in Cambridge. Parking is available at the nearby Newmarket Road Park and Ride site, and a free shuttle bus will be available.
