Cambridge Regional College sponsors Job Show

Cambridge Regional College is sponsoring a new Job Show in Cambridge this month, to be opened by city MP Julian Huppert.

The college, a leading provider of apprenticeships and workplace training, is sponsoring the show’s Education and Training centre, providing practical advice and help to job-hunters and employers.

The Job Show, which takes place at the Royal Cambridge Hotel on 25 September, aims to bring together talented personnel with top organisations looking for new staff.

Dr Huppert said the show was good news for Cambridge people who were looking for a new career or to improve their job prospects.

“It shows Cambridge has a lot to offer for both residents of the city and companies looking to move into the city,” he said.

CRC Business Development Manager Phil Stittle said the college’s workplace training advisers would be at the show offering help and advice to visitors.

“We offer a very wide range of training, from managerial and professional qualifications to short online courses, and we’ll have advice on all of them available in the show’s Education and Training centre,” he said.

“Job fairs are a great way for employers and job-hunters to get together in an informal setting and find
out about each other, and we’re delighted to be sponsoring the Education and Training centre at the exhibition.”

The Job Show is open from 10:30am to 5pm on 25 September at the Royal Cambridge Hotel in Trumpington Street, Cambridge.
