Camford Management Consultants sponsors Cambridge Centre for Computing History

Martin Williams of Camford Management Consultants has donated both a financial contribution to Cambridge Centre for Computing History's 128K Fund and a personal time commitment.

Camford Management Consultants are specialists in business strategy and are dedicated to resolving business challenges through technology. This year they have assisted a number of organisations with their business challenges, including:

  •     Helping a Magic Circle law firm determine its global applications organisation strategy
  •     Reviewing the IT Strategy for a water utility's next 5-year business plan
  •     Developing the disaster recovery strategy for an energy giant's trading arm
  •     And determining a global data centre strategy for a global bank.

Martin, who has had a long career in IT management consultancy, having delivered over 60 consulting assignments over four continents, and in ten market sectors said: "I am really pleased to be involved with the museum at these crucial early stages.
 
"I have been watching the museum develop over the past few years and the recent high profile leap into Cambridge has been impressive to say the least. The team has achieved so much so quickly and the future is looking very exciting. I am really pleased to be able to be a part of this initiative".

Museum Director, Jason Fitzpatrick said: "It's great to have Camford's support and really valuable to have Martin involved personally. We're really looking forward to working with him in progressing the museum and contributing to our educational offer."

The Cambridge Computing Museum is currently open from Wednesday to Sunday every week - 10am to 5pm.
