Can you lead Sugar Smart communications for Cambridge?!

Cambridge Sustainable Food is looking for a Communications and Events Manager for the second stage of their Sugar Smart Campaign being launched in January 2018.

Sugar Smart Cambridge is part of a national campaign supported by the Jamie Oliver Foundation and Sustainable Food Cities (SFC).

Its main aims are focussed on raising public awareness about the dangers of too much sugar and to work with organisations that will facilitate people to reduce sugar intake. CSF, as the local sustainable food partnership, has received a grant from the parent organisation, Sustainable Food Cities, to run a Cambridge City Campaign for 6 months, with a public launch in January 2018.

CSF is looking for a digitally minded, freelance, marketing communications and events manager to help achieve their goals within Cambridge. The role will be flexible, part-time, 1-2 days a week with salary of up to £200 per day depending on experience. You will be expected to travel to local steering group member sites as required and attend the steering group meetings. Otherwise this role will largely be working from home. The anticipated starting date is mid-November.
