Aimee was nominated by her peers for a number of reasons, including ‘asking questions to improve her knowledge on marketing recruitment and Brand processes.’ We also felt that she has shown a particular interest in what other people are doing around the office. She was also nominated for proactively skyping many of our candidates last month and making an innovative, useful spreadsheet to help with this. Another helpful asset people noticed was that she is ‘always handing documents out from the printer without being asked!’
Since joining Brand Recruitment in June this year, Aimee is clearly seen as a highly valued team member at Brand. She has chosen to make a donation to Cancer Research, which is the world’s leading cancer charity dedicated to beating cancer through research that has saved millions of lives. In 2012/13 their supporters raised an amazing £460 million. For every £1 donated, over 80p is spent on their work to beat cancer, so whatever the size, every donation really does make a difference. A large portion of last year’s donations were spent on research in institutes, hospitals and universities across the country, of which £13 million was spent locally to us for the transfer of their Cambridge Research Institute to the University of Cambridge.
The charity is special to Aimee as her Granddad recently suffered from cancer, and she mentioned that she wanted to donate to Cancer Research so that “she could give something back to help those in the same situation.” To find out more about the incredible work that Cancer Research carries out please visit their website.
