Career Ready is a UK charity that supports young people age 16-19 into higher level careers.

Across Cambridge Career Ready are supporting 85 sixth form and college students who are all interested in STEM subjects to progress onto the next level.

All students take part in a series of employer led engagements, one of which is face to face mentoring.

Career Ready and its associated sixth forms and colleges are recruiting volunteers now to support this part of the programme.

Mentors are required to give up 1-2 hours of their time each month for 1 year. Full training is also provided.

If you think you could support a young person through the decisions they have to make in sixth form or college, and you would like to inspire the next generation into a STEM career, please contact the Cambridge Regional Manager for further information ([email protected]).

Alternatively you can sign up to mentor straight away via our website (www.careerready.org.uk/volunteer)
