CDC Events ensures success of the Cambridge Central Mosque opening ceremony

Leading Cambridge based Catering and Event Management Company CDC Events were proud to be involved with the Opening Ceremony of the Cambridge Central Mosque.  The Trustees asked CDC Events to fully event manage the ceremony, from managing invitations and registration of guests to assisting with security for international VIPS, translation streaming and providing an exquisite high tea for all guests to enjoy.

CDC Events was very proud to Event Manage the Cambridge Central Mosque Opening Ceremony last week (6th December). The Mosque is a breathtaking prayer space and is Europe’s first eco-mosque. The Trustees of the Mosque approached CDC Events wanting full event management within a six-week lead time.  

CDC Events delivered services including managing over 800 invitations, RSVPs, international VIPs, event website and delegate registration.

The team also managed security, event production AV including simultaneous translation for over 500 guests and all food, drink and delegate services. 

Attendees included representatives from both the British and Turkish governments, the British embassy and a special visit from President Erdogan of Turkey.
