Open Cambridge 2012 was the biggest yet, with approximately 4,000 visitors taking part in all kinds of activities, from tours of Colleges, to drop in events at many of the University’s museums and departments. The 2013 Open Cambridge weekend, which takes place from today (Friday) until Sunday (13–15 September), promises to be even bigger and better than last year’s!
The annual Bridge the Gap charity walk takes place on Sunday, offering local residents the opportunity to visit selected College and University grounds while raising support for local charities.
Owing to the historical nature of the buildings, some buildings may have limited access for visitors requiring level access. Please check the University of Cambridge Disability Access Guide for information on how to plan your visit or call 01223 766766 to enquire about accessibility arrangements.
Open Cambridge is co-ordinated by the Public Engagement team at the University of Cambridge, which works across the University and Colleges to support public research discussion and community outreach work.
