Following a short pitch process, Inspried was delighted to be appointed to work with AVL UK on producing their 40th Anniversary Celebration event at Imperial College in March this year.
AVL are an automotive engineering business working with major car and engine manufacturers on testing and development of components and systems for new cars. Their event was to act as a "thank you" to customers for their continued support and partnership with AVL across a period of time which has seen dramatic change for the automotive industry in the UK.
Inspired was asked to manage all guest management, creative and production elements of the project. Working closely with the senior team we crafted an engaging agenda for the evening, focusing on the significance of innovation and its context within the UK car industry. Renowned presenter, journalist and automotive commentator Quentin WIllson was selected to compere the evening, which featured guest speakers from UK Trade and Investment, and a panel session involving senior management from Ford and Jaguar Land Rover.
The company says: "We also handled all of the guest experience elements, from logo branding to collateral design, and seamlessly managed the entire invitation and management process from start to finish.
"Upon arriving at Imperial College, guests enjoyed a tour through the last four decades at a series of themed bars, each featuring imagery, music and cocktails from the era. They then moved through into the main dinner environment which reflected the spirit of the evening with beautiful lighting, LED table centres and a contemporary stage set. Whilst enjoying a quintessentially British three course dinner, a live jazz band entertained, adding an air of sophistication to the evening.
"The event, which was attended by AVL founder and global CEO Professor Helmut List, was a resounding success and to date has received high praise from customers and internal colleagues alike.
