Upon graduating all former students, regardless of what they were called when they were at Anglia Ruskin University, become alumni and are automatically members of the alumni network.
Today there are over 100,000 alumni in 165 countries, including BBC presenters Nick Crane and Ben Garrod, NSPCC Chairman Mark Wood and David Gilmour of Pink Floyd as well as Nicholas Kalavas of CFM Group.
Mr Kalavas' speech focused mainly on the difficulties students will experience throughout their academic years and the path to founding a marketing company.
