Chocks away for e-Go aeroplanes' first customer

e-Go aeroplanes has celebrated the hand-over of its first production aircraft to its first customer at a launch event at the company’s premises in Conington.

Some 70 guests gathered to witness and toast this important milestone in the company’s history.  They were treated to a stunning display by test pilot, Keith Denison, who demonstrated the aircraft’s impressive manoeuvrability.

William Burnett, owner of the latest e-Go (registration G-OEGO), showed his delight by saying; "I come from a background of flying a variety of aircraft including a Vulcan many years ago, but there is really nothing that compares with this aircraft.  It’s such fun."

Malcolm Bird, e-Go aeroplane’s chairman, who has also flown the prototype aircraft, said: "Everyone who flies this aeroplane has enjoyed the experience," continuing, "there is nothing quite like flying a single seater."

e-Go aeroplanes now moves into serial production of this ‘fun flying machine’.
