Freedom to Operate, Search & Analysis – Advanced will take place on 10-11 November. Building on basic knowledge of FTO search and analysis, such as that gained in CIIPM’s FTO Fundamentals training or through experience, this course provides an in-depth look at the search strategies available and best practice for analysing and presenting results.
IP & Commercialisation, Part 1 – IPRs and IP Management will take place on 8-9 December. This course provides attendees with an overview of the steps involved in developing and managing an IP portfolio in-house. It covers different types of IP rights – patents, trademarks, designs, copyright etc; IP strategy, policy, management and budgeting; inventors and ownership of IP; invention disclosure procedures; and the importance of record-keeping.
For those wishing to broaden their knowledge of the commercialisation of IP, Part 2 - IP and the Ecosystem will be the first scheduled course of 2022, on January 19-20.
