The organisers say:

For this course, we will review a range of IP rights, including patents, trademarks, utility models and designs, and trade secrets.  We will also show how to use published IP information to understand published patent documents, carry out basic searches prior to filing patents and trademarks, and determine legal status of third-party IP.

This course will benefit those who are new to IP legal practice or work in technology transfer, and those who want to learn more about managing IP, innovation practices and the commercialisation of technologies in relation to IP.

Previous course attendees found it “Informative and engagingand “A good overview of all IP”.

The IP Matters online course will take place over two 1.5 hour sessions, starting at 2.00 p.m. BST (14:00 UK Time), on 11-12 August. Enrolment costs £190 + VAT for both sessions, including the course workbook and certificate of attendance. For more details, please see the CIIPM website, https://www.ciipm.co.uk/3-ip-matters
