Clean Air is proud to announce that we’ve been named the winner of the Labmate Award for Excellence in “Best Sustainability Initiative”,a prestigious recognition of our continued efforts to drive innovation and environmental responsibility in the laboratory containment industry.

This latest honour comes hot on the heels of our recent win at Lab Innovations, where we took home the award for Best Sustainable Innovation. Together, these achievements reflect our unwavering commitment to cleaner, safer, and smarter fume cupboard design.

The Labmate Award specifically recognised our work to eliminate SF₆, a potent greenhouse gas traditionally used in fume cupboard type testing, from our processes, and our groundbreaking move to replace it with advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations. Not only does this reduce the environmental impact of testing, but it also enhances safety, improves accuracy, and accelerates product development for our customers.

As an SME committed to reshaping our industry for the better, we are honoured to be recognised for environmental leadership, technical innovation, and user benefit. We’re especially proud that our work is not only helping laboratories meet their sustainability goals but also contributing to the wider effort to reduce harmful emissions across science and education sectors.

A huge thank you to our fantastic team, our clients, and to International Labmate Ltd for this valued recognition. You can read more about the award here: https://bit.ly/4kdly8p
