We were delighted that so many of our colleagues and neighbours came along to support the event and helped us to raise £196.00 for such a worthy cause. It was a lovely opportunity to catch up with some familiar faces and to meet some new ones. We were most impressed that so many people made the effort to pop along on such a grey and miserable day, but hope the delicious cakes and friendly atmosphere cheered them up.
A big thank you to everyone who turned up and for their generous donations. And a special thank you to Jason and Joanna (Jays Office Cleaning) who made some wonderful cupcakes and a very impressive CPM/Macmillan cake with edible ink, Ana Cerdeño-Tárraga who baked the mini cinnamon and apple cupcakes, Caz Queripel who made an office favourite, carrot cake with cream cheese topping, and our own Claire Kanani, whose contribution was a superb chocolate cake.
