Ideally you should attend the Travel Clinic Ltd at least eight weeks before you plan to travel, in order to receive all vaccinations, medications and advice you may need and allow time for vaccines to work effectively.
Vaccination to protect you against diseases such as Hepatitis A and Typhoid are recommended because the diseases can be easily caught through contaminated food and water. Also a booster if you have not received one in the last 10 years of Diptheria, Tetanus and Polio is also recommended. If you plan to travel and visit any of the wonderful sites while you are in Brazil, there are other vaccinations which might be considered, including Hepatitis B and Rabies.

Please come in and check if you will require malaria or Yellow fever which are required for some parts of Brazil or other countries in South America. For example Manaus, is in the centre of the Amazon rain forest in Brazil where both Yellow fever and malaria are common. Brazil is a wonderfully diverse and vibrant country and it is estimated that 3.3 million tickets will be available for the World Cup.
