Conscious Communications celebrates a summer of new client wins

Award-winning public relations and marketing agency, Conscious Communications, is celebrating a summer of new client wins.

The Cambridge-based agency has secured clients from across e-commerce, education, science, environment and health sectors. New clients include: Velocity Commerce, Cambridge University Library, The Library Presents, Cambridge Carbon Capture, Millington Road Nursery School, RBR active and a reappointment from FIRST® Lego® to run two of its FIRST® Lego® League Tournaments.

The new clients join the company’s current client base, which includes the International Baccalaureate (Africa, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific), AstraZeneca, Bedford Lodge Hotel & Spa and the Howard Group, among others.

E-commerce specialists, Velocity Commerce, appointed Conscious Communications to devise and implement a public relations and social media strategy to support it in becoming the first-choice online retail consultancy; the Conscious Communications team manages Velocity’s Press Office alongside proactive social media management.

Eddie Latham, Co-founder and Director, Velocity Commerce said: “The team at Conscious Communications really care; they have taken time and effort to understand our business. A lot of agencies are keen to take your money and do as little as possible for that and Conscious Communications is very different; they don’t have set hours or a limited commitment – we’re in it together. The team thinks of new angles that we haven’t considered and makes sure our personality comes across in everything they draft for us.”

The Library Presents, managed by Cambridgeshire County Council, is a programme of arts, crafts, theatre and comedy pop-up events for local Cambridgeshire libraries. The programme has been devised to help bring quality arts and theatre experiences to communities using the local library network. Through social media management and targeted community outreach, Conscious Communications is supporting the team in the promotion and reach of the new programme.

Cambridge University Library has selected Conscious Communications to build awareness and promote the launch of its new exhibition: This Rising Tide: Women at Cambridge, which opens on Monday 14 October and will showcase the unique stories of women who have studied, taught, worked and lived at the University.

Meanwhile, the design team at Conscious Communications has been working with Millington Road Nursery School to design and develop a brand-new website, alongside supporting marketing materials including a HTML email template, advert and flyer.

Commenting on the project, Senior Designer, Alan Beeson said: “We have had various exciting design projects over the summer months; Millington Road Nursery School being a particular highlight. The logo for the Nursery School inspired our designs across all pieces of marketing and we are proud of the finished products; seeing a project from start to finish and receiving thanks from a happy client is always rewarding.”

In addition to new clients, the team at Conscious Communications has been re-appointed by FIRST® Lego® to run two of its FIRST® Lego® League Tournaments; a series of STEM challenges for teams of young people, which will take place in Peterborough and Cambridge in the new year.

Alison Taylor, Managing Director at Conscious Communications said: “Our number one priority at Conscious Communications is to go above delivering pro-active, creative public relations for our clients, and work as an extension of our client’s team - we’re passionate about making a difference through our work. We are proud to be able to add these clients to our roster, it is a fantastic achievement for the team and highlights our dedication to achieving real, meaningful results. The diverse nature of the brands reflects the variety of strengths that we offer as an agency and I’m excited to see what the final quarter of 2019 brings.”
