Conscious Communications recognised as a force for good by PR Week and CIPR Pride Awards

Cambridge-based public relations and marketing agency, Conscious Communications, has been announced as a finalist for the PR Week Awards for Best Agency Outside London and the CIPR Pride (Anglia, Thames and Chiltern) Awards for Outstanding Public Relations Agency.

By securing finalist positions, the award-winning agency has been recognised for achieving exceptional results for their clients, along with excellent business performance and success over the last two years while achieving a positive social impact and creating opportunities to drive social change in Cambridge, the UK’s most unequal city.

Alison Taylor, Managing Director of Conscious Communications, commented: “We are thrilled that we have been recognised on both a national and regional level by two of the leading public relations industry awards for not only our skill, experience and expertise, but for our dedication to using our knowledge as a force for good, for the benefits of our clients, ourselves, our stakeholders and the wider community.”

By putting corporate social responsibility and sustainable development at the heart of its business, the agency has set an example and demonstrated to others how a business can thrive, while making a positive impact on the lives of others and on the environment.

This commitment has manifested itself in the agency co-founding Cambridge 2030 and creating FXP Festival, its award-winning charity, which drives social mobility by helping disadvantaged children improve their career aspirations and prospects in the creative digital sector.

Taylor continued: “We believe that having a positive impact is not only a good thing to do – but it is the best way to do business, so it is hugely rewarding to be recognised for this. Corporate social responsibility is part and parcel of what we do, not just a page on the website; we know that an authentic focus on it, along with sustainability, improves the bottom line. And so, while we delight in how well we are doing – it is the doing good that we are really most proud of.”

The agency will find out later this year if it has been successful in winning the awards.
