Corporate venturing: What are the benefits for your business?

Corporate venturing is on the rise. In 2011, 500 corporate venturing units globally invested more than $26bn. The UK saw the launch of four new corporate venturing units, as well as increased overseas investment or exit, as in the case of Liquavista – acquired by Samsung for $50m after the South Korean giant established a corporate venturing office in the UK.

What are the opportunities for your business? Should you make ties with a larger organisation? How can you leverage their size and contacts? And how can you connect with the right one? The expert speakers at Bailey Fisher's forthcoming panel discussion (Wednesday 6 March 2013 from 6.15pm-8.45pm at St John's Innovation Centre, Cambridge) will offer invaluable insight into making the most of the investment, expertise & mentoring opportunities that flow from partnering with a corporate.
