Cambridge TV is running a practical one day training session for people who want to make online video content - using your smartphone.
You will learn what works and what doesn't, and it will help you to improve video content you may already be creating.
You'll be looking at what makes an interesting story and the best way to give you a business edge in telling it.
You will learn:
- Who / what to film and how to get the best out of your subject
- Camera skills and techniques
- What makes a good story
- The benefits of editorial over advertising in reaching your audience
- The importance of b-roll and how to make your content better
- Where to film - lighting is vital, as is shot composition
- Pre-production techniques – how to realise an idea effectively
- Why it’s important to think about sound and captions
- How to improve your editing
- How to direct others to obtain the results you need
You will film in a real life TV studio, with a combination of smartphones and professional broadcast equipment. There will be feedback on your work. You will see examples of when things have gone well, and not so well. There will be practical exercises, so please do bring your smartphone.
This masterclass costs £250 per participant. To get involved email bob@cambridge-tv.co.uk
